WonderGrooms
Andrew, WonderGrooms sole groomer, partners with WDCC to provide you and your pup with personalized, one-on-one grooming appointments in house. Whether your pup just needs their daily brushing, a thorough deshedding treatment, or a full haircut, Wonder Grooms can help!
We’re part of The Club! You can be, too!
Andrew works as a manager for WDCC alongside his duties as WG’s groomer. This means that he makes a special connection with your canine kids before they ever are doused or dried – this has been monumental in building trust with my clients, as they have the opportunity to see me as a playmate and pal!
What sets WonderGrooms apart?
Andrew strives to create an environment that sets your pup up for success! To do so, he only takes one appointment at a time, and your pooch will be with the same groomer from start to finish, so they won’t be juggled from handler to handler or spend significant time kenneled or waiting like they may at a more high-volume salon. This environment lends itself to a more relaxed experience in the spa than other local options, and has made a tremendous difference in our clients' outlook on grooming!

How It Works
Meet & Greet:
Discuss style, behavioral/health concerns, and get a chance to say “Hello!” before we start
Together, a pet parent and Andrew will do an assessment of your pet’s skin, coat, ears, nails and teeth, taking care to recognize common skin and coat issues as well as to assess your dog’s coat condition. Please let us know of any unaddressed questions, concerns, or unique requirements.Nail trim, de-matting, and essential clipping
10-30 minutesWe typically will begin by doing light clipping and scissor-work on your pet to remove any compaction/tangles/matting before their bath. At this point we will also trim your pup’s nails and clean their ears.
Thorough, refreshing bath:
10-30 minutes
(add up to 30 mins for deshedding treatments)Andrew’s experience and the privacy of our spa define your pup’s bathtime – Your pet won’t share the space with several other dogs or people, instead enjoying one-on-one attention and a warm, low-pressure shower. Unless otherwise necessary/noted, we use a nourishing Oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. I also offer medicated shampoo, and I’m willing to use products brought from home/prescribed, too.
Custom Drying:
30+ minutesThe drying process begins with a gentle towel drying throughout the coat. My forced-air dryers are optionally heated and have adjustable speeds. This is faster than air drying and allows your pet to be attended to in a more-timely manner. For those who don’t accept forced-air drying we will attempt a crate-drier, and finally resulting in towel drying/air drying. Your stylist will adjust their approach based on your pet's temperament.
Styling/Finishing touches:
30+ minutesCarefully washing and drying your pet ensures the best results for both groomer and pet alike. Once they are dried and prepped for clipping/scissor-work we’ll do the doux, styling your pet to your specifications. If your pup received a deshedding or other non-full-groom service, this time will be used to brush and comb a final time, file down their nails’ edges, wipe and dry their inner ears, & complete all the finishing touches to get them beautified (or at least smelling fresh!).
